Charleston’s Trusted Dog Walking & Cat Sitting Team

About Paws Up!

PAWS UP! is a locally owned, team-based pet care company specializing in private weekday dog walking for busy professionals and customized cat care. Since 2016, we have built our care around relationships, not rushed visits or one-size-fits-all routines. We take time to learn each pet's personality, preferences, and comfort level so their care feels familiar, thoughtful, and genuinely personal.

Local Care You Can Trust.
Professional Support You Can Count On.

Not Just Another Dog Walker Or Pet Care App

Our coordinated team approach provides dependable coverage and shared knowledge of your pet's care plan. We do not guarantee one specific team member for every visit, but we train and support our team to follow the same detailed instructions and care standards. When scheduling changes arise, the team model gives us more flexibility to maintain continuity of care while keeping you informed when a material change affects your service.

EVERY PET DESERVES COMFORT.
EVERY PET PARENT DESERVES PEACE OF MIND.

Paws Up! was born from one simple truth: pets are family. And when life gets hectic, you shouldn't have to choose between your schedule and your pet’s well-being.

We know the guilt that comes with leaving your dog home alone all day or worrying about your cat while you’re out of town. That’s why we set out to create a service that offers more than just a walk or a feed. We offer enriching companionship, mental stimulation, and genuine care from a team you can trust.

We’re proud to serve Charleston and the surrounding areas with a professional, heart-forward approach to in-home pet care. Whether it’s a midday walk in North Charleston, an adventure walk in Park Circle, or a snuggle-filled cat visit in Hanahan, our goal is always the same:

Happy pets. Less stress. More balance for you.

Meet Kimberly

Founder & Chief Tail-Wagger of Paws Up!

Hi, I’m Kimberly, owner of Paws Up! and proud pet parent to two pups, Buddy and Maggie, and two cats, Charlie and Callie. I started this business after seeing far too many pets surrendered to shelters, not because their families didn’t love them, but because life got overwhelming. I knew I wanted to help. I wanted to create a service that not only supports pets, but also supports the people who love them.

As someone who’s volunteered in shelters and knows firsthand how hard it can be to leave your pets while you're working or traveling, I built Paws Up! with compassion, reliability, and enrichment at its core. Our mission is simple: help busy Charleston pet parents breathe easier, knowing their pets are getting the care, routine, and love they need, even when life gets hectic.

When I’m not managing the Paws Up! team, walking dogs, or visiting our kitty clients, you’ll find me singing (I love karaoke), dancing around the house, catching up on a good book, or dominating my fantasy football league (yes, I’m the commissioner!). On weekends (if I'm not working), my partner, Josh, and I love to explore Charleston’s dog-friendly spots with our pups and we love to go camping.

Thanks for stopping by! I’m so glad you’re here, and I can’t wait to meet you and your pets.

Each team member is carefully selected, trained, and supported to ensure your pet receives consistent, high-quality care every visit.

Briana F.

PET CARE PROFESSIONAL

Hello! My name is Briana and I’m super excited to be working with the Paws Up! team. I was born and raised in South Carolina and have had a love for animals for as long as I can remember.

I grew up having 2 schnauzers at home and a beagle. Now I have 2 cats of my own. I love being outdoors and exploring nature. It’s my dream to one day have my own animal sanctuary on a large property of land. I promise to take care of your fur baby as if they were my own and I’m looking forward to caring for them!

Marley D.

PET CARE PROFESSIONAL

Hi, I’m Marley, and I am happy to be part of the Paws Up! team!

I’m someone who feels most at home outdoors and loves exploring new experiences — whether it’s a new hiking spot, a hidden gem in the food scene, or simply enjoying time in the Park Circle community. I’m an animal lover at heart and enjoy giving them all the care they deserve.
